ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Actress Amrita Dhanoa & Model Richa Singh ran Sex Racket
Bollywood actress Amrita Dhanoa and model Richa Singh were arrested for their involvement in the running of a sex racket.
The women were arrested following a police raid on a luxury hotel in Goregaon, Mumbai.
The raid was conducted on January 9, 2020, after Deputy Commissioner of Police D Swamy received a tip-off about a sex racket operating at a five-star hotel.
Police officers also went undercover and posed as customers. According to police, the women and a man were arrested after officers confronted them at the hotel. A fourth arrest was made later.
Dhanoa and Singh allegedly supplied female sex workers to clients. A man named Sameer was a pimp in the operation. He supplied prostitutes online.
Four arrests were made while two young women were rescued.
On the arrest of Dhanoa and Singh, Senior Inspector Dharmendra Kamble said:
“We have rescued two girls and arrested two people in the case. Can’t disclose the names of rescued girls.”
A case was registered under Sections 370(3) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 4 and 5 of the Prevention of the Immoral Trafficking Act.
Staff at the hotel released a statement which read:
“We are writing this to inform that there was a police raid conducted in our hotel last night dated where they had allegedly laid a trap by sending two men to book rooms.
“Later it was portrayed that these guest had invited call girls in their room where they were caught.”
“During the investigation, we have given full cooperation to the police department.
“We would like to highlight that the manager and the staff were nowhere involved in this act. The police had laid a trap by sending the guest directly at the hotel reception to book the room.”
Amrita Dhanoa has been several small-scale Bollywood films including Unlimited Nasha and Parveen Bobby.
She is reportedly the ex-girlfriend of evicted Bigg Boss 13 contestant Arhaan Khan.
Dhanoa previously hit headlines when she accused Arhaan of conning her out of Rs. 5 Lakh (£5,400).
She also claimed that he was cheating on her while they were in a relationship. Their relationship reportedly spanned from 2006 to 2010.
Following her arrest, Dhanoa has pinned the blame on Arhaan.
He denied the claims that he took money from her. He also stated that he was never in a relationship with her and even said that he has never met her.
Arhaan explained to the Times of India:
“Yes, even I read somewhere that she is blaming me for her arrest. I mean I don’t even know her, how can I get her arrested.
“I had cleared in the media during an interview that I don’t know this girl (Amrita).
“However, few publications went ahead and did her interview and she got a chance to spread the lie.
“I still stand on my ground that I don’t know this girl and have never met her, how can I date her or be in a live-relationship.”

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Pakistani model Zara Abid was on board Crashed PIA Plane
Pakistani model Zara Abid was on board the ill-fated PIA flight that crashed in Karachi on May 22, 2020.
The aircraft had been travelling from Lahore to Karachi when it crashed in a residential area, killing 97 of the 99 passengers on board.
Shortly after the crash, social media users claimed that Zara Abid had been on the plane.
Prior to the crash, she had posted a picture of herself in an aircraft and writing: “Fly high, it’s good.”
It is not known whether she survived the crash or not. Although it is not confirmed, many have speculated that she was one of the fatalities.
PR mogul Frieha Altaf said that Zara had recently gone to Lahore for her uncle’s funeral.
Following reports of her apparent death, many took to social media to pay tribute.
Mehwish Hayat posted: “Like all the others on the flight, a life extinguished before its time. We miss you Zara.”
Another wrote: “Today Pakistan lost the gorgeous Zara Abid, a person so full of life and vitality, that no image could contain her.”
Others prayed that she was one of the survivors. However, her name was not found on the survivors’ list.
According to Sindh officials, Muhammad Zubair and Zafar Masood are the only two confirmed survivors, with 26 women, 68 men and three children feared dead.
It is not known if Zara was one of the fatalities.
But the number of social media pages claiming that Zara passed away has prompted her brother to appeal to people to stop spreading false rumours.
He said:
“It is a request from everyone that please don’t spread any fake news because there are no reports yet.”
“As soon as we get any news about her we will inform.”
Zara Abid started her career with Sana Safinaz and has gone on to work with A-list designers such as Elan and Ali Zeeshan.
In 2020, she won the Best Female Model award at Hum Style Awards.
The PIA flight crashed near Karachi airport and reports have suggested that the pilots may have forgotten to put the wheels done before landing.
Experts have said that Captain Sajjad Gull and his co-pilot aborted their initial landing when they realised their mistake but not before damaging both of the Airbus A320’s engines.
While attempting to go around for a second landing, both engines failed, causing the plane to plunge into a residential area.
Captain Amit Singh, an air safety expert, detailed what he believes were a series of fatal errors by Captain Gull.
Analysing recordings of Captain Gull’s final moments during calls he made to air traffic controllers, he said a distinctive warning signal could be heard in the background.
The chime is designed to tell the pilot that he is attempting a landing with an incorrect configuration, for example with the wheels up.
While Mr Singh was unable to say what caused such an experienced pilot to make such a basic error, he suggested the answer could lie in-flight data.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Indian Model Mahi Chaudhary Gun Fire Video goes Viral
A video has gone viral of model Mahi Chaudhary firing a gun into the air in the city of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Mahi was seen standing on a rooftop at night whilst holding a revolver and talking to a man who is filming the video. She asks the unknown man if she should fire the gun, which he says yes.
Mahi then tells the man to “count to three”. After counting to three, the model fires the weapon.
The video went viral on June 27, 2020, and has been viewed more than 1,300 times.
Meanwhile, the police were informed about the video and Superintendent Akhilesh Narayan Singh has begun an investigation into the matter.
He stated that after the investigation has been conducted, it will be known where and when the video was produced.
SP Singh also said that it would determine who is the owner of the revolver.

The video has attracted a lot of attention as it surfaced online just one day after Mahi filed a police case against her husband.
She was allegedly attacked at her home in Meerut. Mahi subsequently filed an FIR at Nauchandi Police Station.
According to the FIR, the model claimed that her husband, Manish Kasana, sneaked into her house along with several accomplices with the intention of killing her.
When filing the complaint on June 26, Mahi also told officers that prior to marrying Manish, she had been in a relationship with another man.
She was engaged to Manish in 2017 before getting married in March 2020.
However, it was reported that their marriage deteriorated and now Manish is refusing to consider her as his wife.
An investigation into the allegations against her husband is underway.
The investigation in relation to the model firing the gun has also begun.
Police are trying to find out why Mahi decided to fire a gun into the air whilst being filmed. Police are also working to find out where and when the video was filmed.
SP Singh stated that these factors will be known once the investigation has concluded.
On the work front, Mahi Chaudhary has reportedly featured in a number of Haryanvi films and songs.
She has appeared in many songs and music videos which have been performed by Punjabi singers like Raju Punjabi, Aafat and Ankur Kakre.
One popular song that Mahi was a part of was WOOFER, which is sung by Aafat.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Covid-19 Positive Model Ishika Borah reveals ‘Suicidal Tendencies’
Model Ishika Borah has expressed her “suicidal tendencies”. She had tested positive for Coronavirus on June 24, 2020, and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nagaon, Assam.
She made the upsetting revelation amid claims that she is not receiving the proper treatment.
Nagaon Deputy Commissioner Jadav Saikia stated that Ishika has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for a few days ever since she tested positive for Covid-19.
On Ishika’s complaints, Commissioner Saikia said:
“I am not aware of her complaints and lack of medical services in the hospital. You better talk to the doctors concerned.”
Ishika posted a series of tweets claiming that the hospital has unhygienic conditions, she is not receiving proper treatment and the “negligence of the health staff”.
She said that she was forced to go to hospital despite only having a temperature.
Ishika explained that she lives in Mumbai but had gone to her home state of Assam to visit her family.
It was reported that while in Assam, she started exhibiting mild symptoms so she decided to get tested. After testing positive, she said that she would have preferred to self-isolate but the government allegedly would not allow her.
Ishika said: “The hospital gives me cold water and food to have, and take a bath which is spoiling my health more.
“The service is poor quality, unhygienic hospital, mosquitos have affected my body badly. I exercise at home and eat a healthy diet.”
The model went on to say that she could have taken care of herself better than the hospital staff.
“For this minor temperature, I could have taken care of myself in a more better way with organic medicines, herbs, soups, vitamin C, fruit etc.
“Dr and nurse never came to see us so why they kept me here? I am knowledgeable about Covid-19 treatment cured by organic way turmeric warm water.”
Ishika then revealed that the ordeal has made her depressed and that she is having suicidal tendencies.

The model has also taken part in various fashion shows.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Model claims Sajid Khan told her to Strip at age 17
Indian model Paula has claimed that filmmaker Sajid Khan told her “to strip in front of him” so she could get a film role. She alleged that the incident happened when she was 17-years-old.
The #MeToo wave hit Bollywood in 2018 after actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of harassment.
This resulted in allegations against numerous male celebrities and this included Sajid.
Sajid has been accused once again of sexual harassment by Paula. She broke her silence on Instagram. In a series of posts, she alleged that he told her strip under the pretence of getting a role in his 2010 film Housefull.
The model went on to say that she did not say anything earlier because of her family.
Paula explained: “When #MeToo movement started, a lot of people spoke about Sajid Khan but I did not dare to because like every other actor who has no godfather and had to earn for a family I kept quiet.
“Now I don’t have my parents with me. I’m earning for myself. I can dare to tell that I have been harassed by Sajid Khan at the age of 17.”
She went on to say that when she was called in by the direction for an audition, he sexually harassed her.
“He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me. He even told me to strip in front of him just to get a role in his upcoming Housefull movie.”
While Paula shared her ordeal, she stated that she feared for the other potential victims who went through the same thing.
“God knows with how many girls he has done this. I am coming out now not for any pity party.
“It’s just that I realised that had affected me so bad when I was a child and chose not to speak. But it’s high time no?
“These B*****ds should be behind bars not only for casting couch but also for manipulating and for stealing away your dreams.”
“But I did not stop!! But the wrong I did was not to speak about it!”
This is not the first time that the director has been accused of sexual harassment.
Sajid Khan had been filming Housefull 4 but stepped down midway after being accused of sexual harassment by a former assistant director in 2018.
More women later came forward and shared their ordeal at the hands of Sajid.
One victim alleged that the director asked her inappropriate questions, including if she would have sex with a dog for money.
As a result of the multiple accusations, the Indian Film and Television Director’s Association (IFTDA) banned Sajid for a year.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Gehana Vasisth charged with Gang-Rape
TV actress Gehana Vasisth has reportedly been charged with gang-rape and wrongful confinement.
This comes just days after she was arrested by Mumbai Police for filming and uploading pornographic videos to her website.
The Gandii Baat star and several others were arrested after police raided a bungalow.
Officers found a man and woman on a bed being filmed with a mobile phone.
Gehana had allegedly shot 87 adult films and uploaded them on her website, making them available for viewers at a subscription fee of Rs. 2,000 (£20).
However, she has now been charged with gang-rape and wrongful confinement.
This comes after a 24-year-old model claimed that she was forced to engage in sexual acts with three men during a shoot.
Police have booked Gehana and three men with rape, outraging the modesty of women and obscene acts under the Indian Penal Code.
The actress’ lawyers have denied the allegations, stating that Gehana has only filmed erotic videos.
In relation to her arrest, she had allegedly filmed 87 pornographic videos.
According to police, Gehana persuaded struggling actors to work for her. One actor was reportedly paid approximately Rs. 20,000 (£200) per film.
But her publicist, Flynn Remedios, issued a statement, claiming that the videos produced and directed by Gehana’s company, GV Studios, “at most can be classified or categorised as Erotica”.
The statement read:
“Gehana Vasisth aka Vandana Tiwari is totally innocent.”
“She is not involved in any porn film racket etc. As the producer and director of her company GV Studios, she has only produced and directed films that are permissible in law and at most can be classified or categorised as Erotica.
“She is being falsely implicated and trapped or made a victim by vested interests and business competitors who are out to defame her.”
It added: “We have full faith in the judiciary and the Indian legal system.
“Unfortunately, Mumbai Police, which is otherwise the best police force in the world has mixed up and clubbed together Gehana’s Erotica film making work with hard porn and hard porn makers in India.
“There is a legal difference between Erotica or sensual or bold films and hardcore porn, but unfortunately, we are really saddened by the fact that the cops have clubbed both together.
“We hope the courts will identify the difference and give Gehana justice in the coming days.”

Pakistani model Mathira has angrily slammed trolls for calling her cruel names such as “plastic”.
She had appeared on Tabish Hashmi’s To Be Honest and the pair spoke about equal rights, friendships and struggles within the entertainment industry.
However, Mathira’s appearance led to her becoming the victim of trolls.
Some netizens body-shamed her while others accused her of getting plastic surgery. Some users even slut-shamed her.
This prompted Mathira to respond to the haters.
On her Instagram Stories, Mathira wrote:
“I’m chubby and I’m happy like this. Who are you to shame me? Focus on yourself please.”
She went on to state that she was tired of people judging her for her looks. Mathira revealed that her weight gain was due to “hormonal imbalances”.
“I’m so tired of people asking why I have [gotten] implants and all… Seriously, it’s a shame. I have hormonal imbalance issues. Stop it.”
On whether she had plastic surgery, Mathira told the trolls that if that were the case, she would own up to it.
“If I get surgeries, I will certainly own up to it. I have put on weight. Please stop this nonsense of calling me plastic.”
A few days after her angry response, Mathira revealed that she gets unwanted advice from people, including women, regarding her skin colour.
In another Instagram Story, Mathira wrote:
“I have realised people will always shame me when I wear a fully covered dress, I am shamed on my colour… so what if I am BROWN.
“I am named shamed for my colour, my weight, what is wrong with our society?”
“Why do we like pushing people to the edge mentally forcing them to break down!
“It’s not at all cool women have sent me DMs to use whitening injections, lol I can surely afford them but I don’t want to be white, I am a proud brown thick girl living life freely.
“Focus on your black hearts and try to make them white by removing this type of negativity.”
She also shared a post, confidently flaunting her brown skin tone.
It was captioned: “I am a brown girl who defines her standards of beauty. The darkness of my skin is my own bronzer.
“The sun loves me too much that I am immersed in its rays in the summer.
“I am not ashamed to be brown. I am a Pochahontas in my own world.”
During her appearance on To Be Honest, Mathira was asked about the taboo surrounding sex in Pakistan. She replied:
“Every single person does what they prohibit others from doing.
“If it weren’t for sex, none of us would be present in the world.
“Why overly exaggerate and categorise things as vulgar?
“Our people have a problem: their eyes dart towards something else while speaking about a very serious matter.”

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Eshal Fayyaz says Step-Father tried to Rape Her
Pakistani model and actress Eshal Fayyaz shockingly revealed that her then step-father tried to rape her on numerous occasions when she was a child.
Eshal made the revelation on Good Morning Pakistan with host Nida Yasir.
She explained that her biological father had passed away when she was very young.
This led to her mother remarrying when Eshal was around three to four years old.
The attempted rapes happened a few years later.
Eshal told Nida: “When my father died, I was very young. I was around three or four years old when my mother married someone else.
“After this, when I grew a little older, my step-father at the time tried to rape me.”
The revelation shocked Nida, who said she did not know something like this had happened.
She added: “I am so sorry. I promise I had no idea.”
Eshal went on to say that she was very young at the time and did not speak out against her step-father. However, the incidents repeatedly played in her head.
She said that at the time, she did not have the capacity to process what was happening to her.
Eshal eventually spoke out against her step-father when he tried to rape her for the fourth time.
She told her older sister about the abuse. The pair then went and spoke to their mother.
“I did not have much sense back then. I went up to my mother and told her what happened. This also became the reason for their divorce.
“I told my mother that he tried to rape me. Not once, not twice, not even thrice.
“When it happened for the fourth time, I had had enough.”
“My mother divorced him after this and never got married again.”
Eshal Fayyaz was previously in the headlines for rumours that she was set to marry writer and director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
However, she dismissed the speculation. Eshal said:
“I have no idea, God knows from where the rumours came and who was spreading it.
“I am still doing one of Khalil-ur-Rehman’s favourite scripts, I am still connected to him and we still have good talking terms and Khalil Sahab is like a family to me.”
She went on to talk about Khalil-ur-Rehman’s wives:
“Even after such rumours Khalil-ur-Rehman’s wives didn’t change their behaviour, his wife scolded the bloggers on spreading such controversies about her husband and dragging me in it.”

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Pakistani Model found Dead in Lahore is a Mystery
On July 11, 2021, a Pakistani model was found dead at her home in Lahore under mysterious circumstances.
According to the police report, the victim was strangled to death by unidentified suspects.
Twenty-nine-year-old Nayab Nadeem was living alone at a house in the city’s Defence B area when her stepbrother Mohammed Ali Nasir discovered her naked body.
He alerted the police. Officers arrived at the scene and sent the body for a postmortem.
Initial forensic reports stated that Nayab was tortured and later strangled to death by the perpetrators.
Although her body was found naked, the forensic report has initially ruled out the possibility of rape.
Police registered a case and are looking into the matter.
It was reported that on July 10, 2021, Nayab and Mohammed went to Gulberg for ice cream. Afterwards, he dropped her off at her home and left.
Mohammed became concerned when he tried to call Nayab and she did not answer.
Upon reaching her house and entering, he found the Pakistani model’s body lying on the floor.
Mohammed said that the window lattice in the bathroom was broken. He suspected that his stepsister was murdered and demanded that the perpetrators be brought to justice.
Based on Mohammed’s complaint, police registered a case of murder.
The complainant said that he visited his stepsister’s home at around midnight and found her body on the floor unclothed.
In a statement, he said:
“There were scars on my sister’s neck.”
Mohammed also said that he had regularly visited his stepsister to check in on her as well as provide her with groceries.
Nayab lived alone and was not married.
Police say the perpetrator escaped from the rear of the house and had taken Nayab’s phone.
However, there were no signs of robbery.
SSP Mansoor Aman said that they had found traces of human hands near the body. He added:
“We have also found traces of human hands at the window and have sent the samples for forensic examination.
He also said that her wardrobe was found in disarray.
Officials said that prior to getting ice cream with her stepbrother, Nayab was at a party with friends.
It was reported that she got into an argument with friends before leaving.
Officials said: “She got engaged in a heated argument and later left the place.”
Police added that as many as 10 people have been included in the investigation process, adding:
“After [scrutinising] the phone details, her close friends have been included in the investigation.”
